Alexandra Susnjar is an associate attorney at Skarin Law Group, where she represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including child custody and visitation, support issues, domestic violence restraining orders, discovery, and financial disclosures. She is known for her thoughtful, strategic approach and her commitment to helping clients navigate emotionally complex legal issues with clarity and confidence.

Alexandra’s journey to practicing law began with a passion for problem-solving, cultivated through her undergraduate studies at UCLA in environmental science, her advocacy in biological conservation, and her extensive community service. These experiences honed her ability to analyze intricate details, mediate diverse interests, and advocate for vulnerable individuals. Now, as a family law attorney, she leverages these skills to empower her clients, guiding them through sensitive legal processes with a focus on achieving fair and lasting resolutions.

While earning her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), Alexandra led the Hastings Prisoner Outreach Program, providing pro bono parole consultations to individuals incarcerated for violent crimes. She received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services and was inducted into the UC Hastings Pro Bono Honor Society. She also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Education Law.

Prior to law school, Alexandra clerked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in both the Juvenile and Community Violence Reduction divisions. Her early exposure to the justice system further strengthened her dedication to advocacy and community-focused legal work.
