Skarin Law Group’s Leaders Of Tomorrow Scholarship

Skarin Law Group announces its Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship, offered to promising scholars focused on helping others in need. Skarin Law Group is a well-respected family law firm in the heart of Southern California. With an emphasis on sympathetic guidance for families facing a family law crisis, the legal team of Skarin Law Group delivers a unique combination of legal knowledge and financial expertise for each client.

Skarin Law Group was founded with a mission of offering clear guidance and legal advocacy for people in emotional family straits who aren’t sure where to turn. Firm founder and lead attorney Matthew K. Skarin, a Certified Family Law Specialist and active Certified Public Accountant, emphasizes practical advice and the care and compassion that vulnerable people need as they face divorce, child custody disputes, questions of grandparents’ rights, and escaping domestic abuse situations.

We are looking for scholarship applicants with a strong interest in family law, social work, or child welfare. Ideal candidates should possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and genuine compassion for the challenges faced by families facing a legal or relationship crisis. While we consider academic achievement, we also look beyond grades to see how our candidates give back to their communities. Volunteer work, internships, and participation in extracurricular activities are all valued in our selection process.

This scholarship provides a $1,000 award to help ease the financial burden of earning an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Postgraduate degree. By supporting future attorneys, social workers, and family advocates, we aim to nurture a community of dedicated, like-minded professionals.
