Erin Brown, Esq. graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Political Science Pre-Law. She earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C. and was admitted to practice law in 2018. She is admitted to practice law in both Washington D.C. and California. Prior to her career in family law, Erin gained litigation experience while working for the Humane Society of the United States preparing for trials in the federal courts in D.C. and Virginia. 

Erin has focused exclusively on family law since becoming licensed in California. She has extensive experience litigating family law issues, including domestic violence restraining orders, child custody, move-away requests, as well as financial matters. Erin understands the importance of both written and oral advocacy and effectively communicates her client’s positions through both submitted pleadings and argument in court.

Erin fell in love with family law because of the complex property and emotional issues that people face when going through a divorce, child custody matters, and domestic violence. Erin approaches each case in a straight-forward, compassionate manner, and prioritizes effective communication with her clients. Erin’s dedication to each client inspires her to dogmatically advocate their positions and she does not easily back down. 

Erin is committed to helping her clients navigate one of the most difficult times in their life and is easily accessible to clients when they need legal advice or emotional support. Whether through settlement or litigation, Erin’s top priority is obtaining the best possible resolution for every unique client.
