Samantha Jabour is an Associate Attorney at Skarin Law Group, where she focuses exclusively on family law and advocates for clients navigating some of the most personal and emotionally complex legal matters. She brings a balanced approach to her practice—combining strong litigation skills with thoughtful, client-centered advocacy.

Samantha earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she gained extensive hands-on experience in family law across both nonprofit and private practice settings. During law school, she worked at Life Span Center for Advocacy, representing women who were survivors of domestic violence in matters involving divorce, parentage, orders of protection, and related immigration issues. She also worked at Women’s Divorce and Family Law, a private firm handling complex financial divorces, parentage disputes, premarital agreements, and protective orders.

In addition to her advocacy work, Samantha served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Myron Mackoff in the Cook County Domestic Relations Division. In that role, she assisted with family law, parentage, and order of protection matters, gaining valuable insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedure.

After graduating from law school, Samantha began her legal career at Ford Walker Haggerty & Behar, an insurance defense firm, where she developed strong litigation skills while working on high-value cases exceeding seven figures in California Superior Court. She joined Skarin Law Group in July 2025, returning her focus to family law and client advocacy.

At the firm, Samantha represents clients in all stages of divorce and post-divorce matters, including child custody and parenting time, child and spousal support, and the division of assets and debts. She also has significant experience handling custody modifications and enforcement actions, as well as orders of protection and domestic violence matters, where she advocates for client safety with care and discretion.

Samantha approaches each case with careful preparation, clear communication, and practical problem-solving. She understands that family law matters are often emotionally charged, and she prioritizes listening to her clients, explaining the legal process in a straightforward and accessible way, and helping them make informed decisions at every stage.

She is passionate about supporting clients through life-changing transitions and takes pride in providing detail-oriented, strategic advocacy that protects her clients’ interests while keeping long-term family outcomes in mind.
